Forwrd ("we", "us") is a travel itinerary app that turns forwarded booking confirmation emails into a clean timeline of your trips. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

What we collect

Account information. When you sign in with Apple, we receive an opaque identifier and (optionally) your name and email.

Forwarded emails. When you forward a booking confirmation to your personal forwarding address, we store the email body, parsed trip details (dates, locations, prices, confirmation numbers), and metadata such as the sender and subject line.

Device push token. If you enable notifications, we store an Expo push token so we can deliver notifications about new trips and time-based reminders.

Usage data. We record timestamps for syncs and ingest events. We do not track analytics, location, or advertising identifiers in this version.

How we use your data

We use your information solely to provide the app: parse your emails into trip items, group them into trips, sync data to your device, and send notifications you asked for. Email bodies are processed by the Anthropic Claude API for parsing only; no data is used to train third-party models.

How we share your data

We share data only with infrastructure providers that operate under confidentiality agreements and only for the purpose of running the service: Anthropic (LLM parsing), Cloudflare (inbound email + workers), Neon (Postgres database), Cloudflare R2 (email archival), Railway (hosting), and Expo (push notifications).

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers.

Data retention

Your trips and items are retained until you delete them or your account. Deleted items are soft-deleted for 7 days (for the undo window), then permanently erased. When you delete your account in Settings, all of your data is permanently removed from our databases.

Your rights

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. This action is immediate and irreversible. You can also disable notifications in iOS Settings at any time.

Children

Forwrd is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
